Whites, grays, yellow, with touches of red and pink, this banded beauty really shines; it is one of those very unusual Lake Superior Agates that you hope to find when you are looking for great agate jewelry. The bands of the the stone reminded me of the winds of Lake Superior sweeping around a rocky outcropping. Subtle but strong banding called for a strong yet elegant wire wrap, accomplished by using primarily argentium silver, and highlighted with 14/20 gold fill. I really love the pattern, cut, and wire wrap on this jewelry!
