More info
More rare than “rocking horse poop” is how I’ve heard Keswick Agate described. Originating from Iowa, I was lucky to find a few pieces of this rare stone at the Tucson Gem shows. This Keswick Agate sports an unusual and distinctive pattern, with islands comprised of white orbs, surrounded by red waves and clear, feathered Quartz. You will not see many of these for sale, certainly not in jewelry, and often the pattern is not very impressive. The picture does not do the gemstone justice. Wait until you hold the stone up and let the sun shine through it--AMAZING! This pendant is mostly argentium silver (non-tarnishing) wire with a touch of twisted gold.
