The combination of the two gemstones, one from Isle Royale and one from the Keweenaw mesh perfectly in this one-of-a-kind pendant. When you cross two good things together in the art world, sometimes the sum is greater than the whole of the two parts individually. Here is a fine example. Michigan’s State Gem is paired with another highly prized Michigan gem, the rare Copper Agate.
The Copper Agate is coated with a two part epoxy to inhibit tarnish, the Greenstone is finely polished and adhered to the Copper Agate, guaranteed not to fall off. These are wrapped in 24 gauge double gold fill wires. These are both collectors dream stones. By combining these two treasures from the Copper Country, it makes a stunning jewelry.
