Crystal and copper lovers will be delighted with this Striking Copper Agate. Smaller than some of our choices, it still has a great ratio of copper and quartz. This little copper agate was found in the Kearsarge Lode in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Upper Peninsula Michigan. Copper Agates are becoming more rare and have been very popular. It's a way to enjoy agate and copper, all in one!
This stone is wrapped in Argentium and pink gold giving it a classy look. The pink gold matches the copper of the agate. The silver allows you to wear with your favorite silver chain.
The copper replacement agate is one of many unusual and rare gemstones occurring in Michigan's Copper Country. These unusual agates from the Kearsarge lode never cease to amaze and surprise when they are cut open from dark green nodules found by careful searching in certain areas near Calumet. The back of this stone is left unpolished to show this original look. These agates have become coveted within the last few years.
When you wear this you will remember the Keweenaw and the unique copper minerals it has. Buy today--enjoy forever!
