Searching the crevices of the Tucson Gem Shows produced a beautiful creamy Snow Scene Opal at the bottom of a tub of normal Snow Scene Opal. The Opal coloration closely matched a Datolite Cabochon I had cut from Datolite from the world famous Quincy Mine in Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula. The muted beige-yellow makes this pendant fit to wear with anything. The hinged design allows movement and makes this special piece of Jewelry appealing and comfortable to wear.
Multi-Stone pendants like this are very challenging and time consuming to get just right (that's why most wire wrappers don't make them). They require careful engineering as well as artistic engagement. Wrapped in gold fill and Argentium Sterling, this designer pendant is a very special piece--a one of a kind pendant.
