Each tiny agate in this stone is a replacement for a blood cell in the bone. Over the eons the once-living bone became this spectacular stone. This is beautiful color, vibrant and easy to see.

I acquired this material from a rockhoud that bought out a rock shop 30 years ago in Utah. I have never seen these pink agates filling the bone cells before. These pieces sell fast because picking up bones is now unlawful, making existing pieces of this quality extremely rare. Imagine wearing jewelry from a rare dinosaur bone fossil! Use of both 14/20 gold fill and argentium wires allows for both colors to add to the artistry of this pendant or slide.
