Extinct millions of years ago, the only part left of these Megalodons are these teeth. Megs lived 23-3.6 million years ago. Megalodon means “big tooth” and it certainly describes these fossil teeth, found in southeastern US rivers. Our teeth came from the Savannah or Peace River in Florida. Great white sharks are a distant relative of the Meg. Sharks naturally shed lots of teeth. Divers search for these teeth, by feel, in bull sharks infested rivers. The waters are so muddied, you sometimes can't see much farther than a foot in front of you.
This is a real tooth, not a replica.
A very nice tooth, nicely polished tooth hangs on tarnish-resistant argentium silver wires. The serrated edges have been removed. Smoothing the edges creates a piece of jewelry that is easier on clothing. These smaller teeth can be worn by man or woman. This tooth is a beautiful baked brown color.
A beautiful large megalodon tooth, almost a museum quality tooth. The surface of the tooth reminds of petrified wood, with mottled brown wood-like layering. Wire setting is tarnish-resistant argentium silver. A large chain or leather cord can be used for the necklace.
This tooth will generate conversations! Perfect for the science teacher or other fossil geek
