Big Boss Megalodon Tooth Pendant

Extinct millions of years ago, the only part left of these Megalodons are these teeth. Megs lived 23-3.6 million years ago. Megalodon means “big tooth” and it certainly describes these fossil teeth, found in southeastern US rivers.   Our teeth came from the Savannah or Peace River in Florida.  Great white sharks are a distant relative of the Meg.  Sharks naturally shed lots of teeth. Divers search for these teeth, by feel, in bull sharks infested rivers. The waters are so muddied, you sometimes can't see much farther than a foot in front of you.

This is a real tooth, not a replica. It has a highly polished distinct medium gray/green surface with nice serrated edges, with one small divot on right side of tooth.  You can make up a good story about that, but really no-one would probably notice unless you tell them about it.

Wire setting is gold fill. The bail of 1/4” can accommodate a large chain or leather cord.
