We know fossil lover's are always looking for something to help interest other people in their lore. Here is jewelry for a man or woman to invite love of the fossils.
The crinoid fossil is related to starfish and sea urchins. It was not a plant but an animal that lived in Devonian times. It had segmented "stems". Here you see the detail of the "stem" Each segment is clearly visible. More commonly we see small donut shaped pieces of the stem among muddy fossil bits Native Americans sometimes used those crinoid stem "donuts" as beads. .It is unusual to find a full stem laid out like this.
The earthy colors make it easy to pair with any clothing. Another great conversation piece for the fossil lover!
