I have cut many Greenstones, but here is an ultra fine example you’ll be thrilled to wear and tell people about.
Starting with a cabochon weighing 3.2 grams, this beautiful Greenstone from Isle Royale was collected in 1962. The wire wrap is 24 gauge 14/20 gold fill, giving a delicate and elegant look matching the superior stone. The stone is a perfectly clear chatoyant chlorastrolite with florets of pink and white Thomsonite, like flowers in a silky green garden. Rarely do we find a Greenstone that is as nice on the back as the front, but this is!
