Jewelry should be something special, and this Greenstone with Datolite is very special. This lovely, rare combination 3 gram greenstone with datolite from the Keweenaw Peninsula, is wrapped in argentinium, and gold fill wires. The Datolite has just a hint of pink, which you can see more strongly in the picture of the back side of the pendant. Greenstones of this size, and a combination like this are very unusual. Wear this handcrafted pendant with pride!
Greenstone is the common name for chlorastrolite (chlor meaning green, astro meaning star). Chlorastrolite is the state gem of Michigan, found only in small areas of the Keweenaw Peninsula, and on Isle Royale.
