This beautiful pink and green gemstone is an eye-catching Michigan Greenstone (chlorastrolite) studded with a dollop of Thomsonite. The depth of the stone is about 3/16" and is starry green pattern except for the one eye of Thomsonite. This is a very nice choice for a ring or pendant. This was collected on Isle Royale many years ago, and is a treasure unique to the Island, rarer than diamonds.
The greenstone, also known as chlorastrolite, is the state gem of Michigan and is found only is small select areas of the Keweenaw Peninsula or on Isle Royale National Park.
