More info
Normally when I see copper in a greenstone the price triples, but because this is an unusual conglomerate greenstone and not a typical alligator skin one, the price is at a bargain rate. You just don't see copper inclusions in greenstone everyday. The back of the stone is not flat, and has some flaws which are not visible on the front. The stone is not cracked and would make a wonderful pendant for those who want an unusual gemstone at a great price.
The greenstone, also known as chlorastrolite, is the state gem of Michigan and is found only is small select areas of the Keweenaw Peninsula or on Isle Royale National Park.
