A good solid, thicker, teardrop-shaped greenstone, the chatoyancy plays across this stone as it is turned back and forth in the light. The darker background enhances the phenomenal shimmery effect. This would make a great pendant.
The greenstone, also known as chlorastrolite, is the state gem of Michigan and is found only is small select areas of the Keweenaw Peninsula or on Isle Royale National Park.
