A island of classic alligator-skin greenstone pattern floating in a sea of pale pink, this chlorrastrolite is one of the most unusual and beautiful greenstones I have ever cut. To be honest, I can't tell if this is pale pink prehnite, or thomsonite, but it is distinctive and unusual. The greenstone seems larger than it is, because it is quite thin, it will require a lost-wax casting. It would make a great ring. This stone is from an old collection, found on Isle Royale. .4 grams
