From Wild Horse Canyon, in the Owyhee Mountains near the Idaho/Oregon border. Wild Horse is one of the famous Picture Jaspers from that area. The "pictures" are created by petrified mud silicates, with occasional dendretic inclusions. The coloration in this Jasper are subtle muted colors, browns with a blue sky in the corner, making it the perfect stone for everyday wear. The landscapes in this stone are really special.
I carefully cut the rough rock into a picture frame shape, focusing on the western foreground and the distant waterfall; Put yourself in this fantastic picture: imagine yourself somewhere behind the foreground watching a roadrunner or, in my case, hunting rocks (maybe both).
Much thought and skills were put into the wrapping and spacing of this stone; precisely wrapped in Argentium Sterling, with a couple gold wires for enhancement, you will love wearing this scenic pendant.
A 1/4" bail makes this a suitable candidate for any cord, or a larger chain or Omega.
