A part of my "Hurricane Nicole" collection, I stayed tucked in my jewelry making station while hard rain and high winds were making scattered debris in my area! The high winds knocked down Spanish Moss and loose leaves and branches and moved random things people had not stored away.
Like Scattered Debris from the storm, in this Pudding Stone you will find the standard red jasper bits and also some clear quartz permeated with pink/orange over one side of the matrix. Also the back has a large banded jasper ribbon. Instead of caused by a hurricane, this is a special delivery from a glacier 10,000 years ago.
Pudding Stones by nature have a little of this and a little of that in them, but the star, the main attraction is usually a red Jasper bit. This Pudding Stone is from Northeast Lower Michigan.
Pudding Stones are unique beach finds. Each one has it's own mix of colorful "treats". A great choice for the beach comber or rock hound.
