If you're looking for a Keweenaw Country treasure, this is a real winner!. This is a larger nugget, with brilliant copper, decorated with silver. The wire work twists around innumerable undulations and twists of the stone, and ends in a little silver dot peeking through the wire loop at the top. Nuggets of silver and copper together are naturally occurring, but rare, in Michigan's Copper Country.

The back is left as found, unpolished with a textured surface, enjoyed by rockhounds. The pink gold of the wire setting emulates the copper of the stone, with the yellow gold adding brightness. Done in smaller 24-gauge wires, they meet at the top in graceful ribbons.
