More info
From a famous pocket found at the Ray Copper Mine in the mid-1970's, this gorgeous piece of electric blue-green Chrysocolla mixes with a striking dark matrix to make the blue color jump from the pendant. The flowing pattern of the stone was duplicated in an elegant wire wrap of primarily argentium sterling with added twisted 14/20 gold fill wires. To call this pendant striking is an understatement.
Shortly after this material was found, the company buried the area, in order to get their employees from collecting it during their breaks and lunch hours, and get them back to work! Even today collecting at this sight is restricted.
