Wire work for this stone was done while Hurricane Nicole was battering the Florida coast, and rocking my RV. I was inspired to name this Gray Skies, which really we are pretty used to in Michigan too! A pale Petoskey Stone cut in a designer shape, wrapped in pink gold and tarnish-resistant Argentium silver wire makes a striking large pendant with bold large eyes. The eyes are up to 1/2 inch! This is a species of Petoskey Stone coral not often found.
The Petoskey stone is the state stone of Michigan and is a best-selling item. In the rough, on the beach, the stone may not catch your eye, but when Don does his lapidary and wire artistry, he makes eye-catching jewelry. Buy this for yourself or a loved one today!
