Minnesota's famous gem takes a mischevious appearance here. Can you see Circus Balloons? Anyway, it is dainty, but big enough to have lots of the much-desired circular patterns all over it. The wire setting is a combination of square 14/20 pink gold fill and tarnish-resistant argentium wires, enhancing the pink in the stone.
The primary area where we collected Thomsonite is no longer available for hunting these Gemstones. This is a pretty stone from the North Shore of Lake Superior, a wonderful momento of the Great Lakes. Who do you know who would love this?
